1. Discovery Call – To ensure that we are the right fit for what you’re looking for, we offer all prospective patients an opportunity to speak with the doctor for 15min over the phone (there is no diagnosis available on this call, just a brief call to see if the Doctor would be a good fit for you).
2. Initial Deposit – When you are ready to move forward, we collect a 50% non-refundable deposit that is applied to your initial visit with the Doctor. This deposit is transferrable ONLY if your visit is rescheduled with a minimum of 2 full business days notice. Your deposit does not expire and provides you access to our team to assist in preparing for your visit and to get all the necessary paperwork completed before making your appointment.
3. Consent Forms – After your deposit is received, we will send you all of the necessary forms to complete.
4. Schedule – As soon as all of your consent forms are in and signed, we will reach out to you to get you on the schedule.

The answer is that it depends on which IV Therapy you are requesting. We have a few ways in which you can receive IV Therapy with RHMC:

1. Fast Bags – These IV’s are open to anyone, established and non-established patients. Fast Bags do not require any bloodwork and are a safe volume for anyone to receive. We have five (5) Fast Bag formulations to choose from: Immune, Wellness, Energy, Destress & Weight Loss
2. Pre-Formulated IV Bags – We have many Pre-formulated IV’s to suit your needs (see our IV Page for more details). These bags are a larger size than our Fast Bags and require recent bloodwork with the last six (6) months, which will need to cover two (2) markers: CBC (“Complete Blood Count”) and CMP (“Comprehensive Metabolic Panel”). Upon approval from one of our Doctors, you will be cleared for any of our pre-formulated IV’s.
3. Specialty IV Bags – There are certain IV’s that we offer (ie “Ozone”, “NAD” to name a few) that will require you to either establish care with us or provide us with a IV Referral from an existing Doctor that you are under the care of.

Naturopathic Medicine is a unique and distinct system of health care that emphasizes the use of prevention and natural therapeutics that support the body in its capacity to heal. The doctors who practice naturopathic medicine, called naturopathic medical doctors (NMDs), are trained to serve as general practitioners who are experts in the prevention, diagnosis, management, and treatment of both acute and chronic health conditions but may have specialties and unique advanced training. 

All of our Doctors are Naturopathic Medical Doctors, licensed by the State of California. Naturopathic Medical Doctors get to the root cause of the disease which is crucial to understanding WHY the body is manifesting symptoms and HOW to correct the imbalances, deficiencies or diseases that have resulted. Naturopathic Medical Doctors (“NMD’s”) are trained at accredited, four-year, post-graduate, residential naturopathic medical programs. The training consists of comprehensive study of the conventional medical sciences, including anatomy, physiology, pathology, microbiology, immunology, clinical and physical diagnosis, laboratory diagnosis, cardiology, gastroenterology, gynecology, etc, similar to conventional doctors, but are also trained in a wide variety of natural therapies and to use their understanding of physiology to inform the most appropriate natural interventions before resorting to pharmaceutical medicine, as a last resort.

Naturopathic Medical Doctors are guided by six principles: (1) Do No Harm; (2) The Healing Power of Nature; (3) Find the Cause; (4) Treat the Whole Person; (5) Preventive Medicine; and, (6) Doctor as Teacher. This set of principles, emphasized throughout a naturopathic doctor’s training, outlines the philosophy guiding the naturopathic approach to health and healing and forms the foundation of this distinct health care practice.

Naturopathic Medical Doctors use a variety of natural and non-invasive therapies, including clinical nutrition, homeopathy, botanical medicine, hydrotherapy, physical medicine, and counseling.

Naturopathic Medical Doctors are also able to function within an integrated framework, and natural treatments can be used to complement treatments used by conventionally trained medical doctors. The result is a patient-centered approach that strives to provide the most appropriate treatment for an individual’s needs.

In the United States, the naturopathic medical profession’s infrastructure includes accredited educational institutions, professional licensing with rigorous medical board exams, national standards of practice, peer review, and a commitment to state-of-the-art scientific research.

Regenerative Injections Therapies are a type of therapy involving the injection of numbing, nutritive, and anti-inflammatory agents into the injured or painful site to stimulate the body’s natural healing process. This strengthens the structures to improve function and reduce pain. Prolotherapy, PRP, ProlOzone and Somatic Cells are the specific treatments. The doctor will be able to advise which therapy is most appropriate for your case.

By injecting the local anesthesia injured cell membranes are re-polarized to reduce pain and improve circulation. Locally inflammatory solutions re-activate the body’s acute injury response to heal the injury/joint/ tissues as if it the damage just occured and nutrients provide raw materials for local repair. PRP can be added to support proliferation and stem cell activation. Stem cell injection locally delivers the basic builing blocks of new tisues to accelerate healing. Oxygen or Ozone stimulates local circulation and growth factor production while reducing damage from free radicals that contributes to ongoing chronic pain cycles and chronic disease.

The rate of success depends on multiple factors, including patients other medical conditions, ability to heal, age, nutritional status, and personal care following treatment. That is why we have a pre-injection phase of care to optimixe your body’s ability to respond to the injection, which acts as the catalyst for healing. We have seen multiple patients be able to avoid surgery, chronic pain resolve and function be restored. These therapies do involve active participation in the healing process and are not a magic bullet quick fix.

Typically there is no coverage for this service. All injection therapies can be applied towards insurance deductible and all fees for care can be paid using a flexible spending or HSA account. We aim to get you lasting results and are committed to you being pain free!
